Ideation Workshop with Start-Up Island

Do you want to participate in the Mayo Business Plan Competition but don’t have an idea yet? No problem! We are hosting an Ideation Workshop to help you brainstorm ideas, and potentially even meet your founding members. Josh Gershon and Brian Helfman, the co-founders of Startup Island will be leading the workshop.

Ideation is a critical process for generating new ideas as well as developing good concepts into effective courses of action. Ideation is not a mysterious ability that some people have and others don’t. Rather, it’s an active process that anyone can learn. This workshop demystifies the ideation process, sideways thinking, and idea generation for new ideas. This will be an interactive meeting so make sure you bring your thinking cap with some extra creativity!
