Carla Fallone, MBA, CEO of Fallone Business Resources and a fourth generation entrepreneur, has been designing/launching companies for 26 years. She has launched and successfully grown her own retail business, service based business and is currently designing and developing an online Enterprise Crowdfunding site for Students. Carla is an adjunct professor at The College of New Jersey, School of Business, where she teaches Entrepreneurship. Carla develops strategic business models/plans, designed to “envision/teach/succeed” entrepreneurship. She consults finance/business development/financial software to private clients. Carla also consults for Small Business Development Centers and the SBA, and authors business theory for Fortune 100 companies. In 2012, Carla delivered the afternoon keynote speech during National Business Women’s Week, NJ Women’s Entrepreneurship Series. Lorraine has served as the Regional Director for The College of New Jersey Small Business Development Center for 16 years and 7 years as Assistant Director, on behalf of the US Small Business Administration, The State of New Jersey, The College of New Jersey and the County of Mercer. Serving central New jersey she has been responsible for assisting nearly 19000 small business owners through training and direct counsel. Her Center counsels over 500 clients a year and trains over 1254 business representatives annually with business and market planning, procurement, financing preparation, start up and most every small business concern.
She has also forged original special projects including starting Trenton Small Business Week 21 years ago, The Academic Administrators Institute, Master CEO and Strategic Needs Assessment programs, as well as current new projects including initiating a Mercer countywide Keep It Local campaign and a successful subcenter offering a full complement of technical assistance and training delivered in Spanish. Recent success includes special focus forums to serve the needs of the county’s hundreds of manufacturing companies and door to door walking tours outreaching to businesses community by community.
Along with Carla Fallone, TCNJ adjunct professor and entrepreneur, she and the SBDC team have successfully coached winning teams in all 6 Mayo Business Plan Competitions at TCNJ.
An award winning leader her recognitions include the US Small Business Administration Innovation Center Award, featured as a 2010 njbiz Magazine Mover and Shaker, 2 time New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners award winner as well as Metropolitan Trenton African American Chamber of Commerce and Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Woman of the Year and Trenton’s Small Business Advocate of the Year. Recently she was acknowledged in “The Birth of a Brand” by Brian Smith, UGGS Founder.
Additionally she serves as a private coach for professionals on a mission to help professionals and people around the world people live by their own mission and become richly visible, valued and accomplished.
